There is a young lady in our church who was recently converted. She shared her testimony on Sunday; it was SUCH a blessing!! I highly recommend listening to it! Just click http://www.sermon.net/lakeroad It's titled "God's great work in my life".
When once she was avoiding people, she's now constantly glowing with a smile. Praise the LORD!

Past few Months
A crew from Kirksville and Columbia went to Arkansas Family camp together. It was a wonderful time of fellowship!! We stopped in Mammoth Spring, AR to stretch our legs and enjoy the scenery.
Be Still
"Be Still, My Soul"by Catharina von Schlegel, 1697-?Translated by Jane Borthwick, 1813-1897
Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side;Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;Leave to thy God to order and provide; In every change He faithful will remain.Be still, my soul; thy best, thy heavenly, FriendThrough thorny ways leads to a joyful end.
Be still, my soul; thy God doth undertakeTo guide the future as He has the past.Thy hope, thy confidence, let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last.Be still, my soul; the waves and winds still knowHis voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.
Be still, my soul, though dearest friends departAnd all is darkened in the vale of tears; Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,Who comes to soothe thy sorrows and thy fears.Be still, my soul; thy Jesus can repayFrom His own fulness all He takes away.
Be still, my soul; the hour is hastening onWhen we shall be forever with the Lord,When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past,All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

Celebrating a year of life!
It was a year ago, today, that little Allison was born. Time has gone by so fast!! What a joy she has brought to our family; we praise God for her!
An update on her health: several months ago, the doctor wanted to do an CT scan on her chest to see what was going on. She coughed when crying and grunted when I held her a certain way, unlike the other kids. The tests revealed that she does have a cyst, but it's not in her lung tissue - which is a tremendous blessing! It seems to be about the same size as when they first discovered it. The doctors said that as long as she grows and is showing no symptoms (which she shows absolutely none now) and as long as the cyst stays the same, nothing needs to be done and she should be fine.
She's been the most laid back of all our children and is quite patient with her siblings who love to hold her, carry her, feed her, "help" her. They have been a tremendous help to me!
We do continue to thank God for filling our quiver and for blessing us beyond measure! To Him be ALL the praise and glory!!

Finally an update
Grammy (Deann's mom) decided to move up to Missouri. Yay!! It's been such a joy to have her here! She is full of many talents. She made Kaitlyn's apron and bonnet and then made Kaitlyn's birthday cake.

Meghan made this hat for Allison for Christmas.
This gives you an idea of how much snow we got. I've never seen this much snow in my life! We had shoveled the driveway twice before the final shovel and it still was the hardest time of shoveling in all my 10 years of living here!
Kailtyn and Ryan were playing Noah's ark.
Meghan was a shepardess for school...
